LACROSSE EDGE

Lacrosse Edge is a 501(c)3 and was started in the fall of 2023.  Youth are not only taught about the sport of lacrosse but also about the indigenous culture and character development. The Creator's Game is much more than catching and passing.  It is about working together, clearing your mind...almost a medicine.

Founder, Dr. Alex Tuel, has been a coach since the early 2000s and wanted to tie his love for the game as well as his education and history background into working towards a common goal - molding the entire youth player.

Thus, Lacrosse Edge was created.  To learn more about Lacrosse Edge, click HERE

But, this could not be financially accomplished without the support from families, businesses, sponsors, and donors.

And our work is not done.  We need your help.

Project Goalie Gear

Let's face it - Box Lacrosse Goalie Gear is expensive.  Kids decide not to play because families cannot afford the gear.  Our goal is to have sets of both Cat 2s and Cat 3s that teams can borrow at no cost for the season.

Not playing goalie because it is cost prohibitive should be a thing of the past.  Want to support this?

Project Field Time

Know what else is expensive?  Box lacrosse field time. Teams do not practice because it is between $150-$350 a practice to rent an indoor field (yes, summer is different but this is CO friends - rain and rink are not safe).

Want to help lessen those fees?

Project Protective Equipment

Many families believe that field lacrosse and box lacrosse are the same.  They are not.  Box lacrosse is much more physical.  Crosschecks are legal.  And that makes the player's ribs and biceps hurt without the right gear.  Our goal is to have loaner protective equipment for players. LOOK GOOD

Look good, play good.  While Mavrix is a program of Lacrosse Edge, the program is very subsidized.  Fees are a fraction of what other programs cost.  Why?  Because of generous donors, sponsors, and partners.  Lacrosse should not be about the haves and the have nots.  Want to help support Mavrix?  DONATE HERE
